My client is an expanding organisation and this is a new role being created as part of their current growth. In this role you will work very closely with the IT Director to define the IT Strategy and develop the IT roadmap for the organisation.

You will develop and high level IT solutions and improve the project delivey process, you'll have a solid understanding of technology in the workplace and will be a trusted IT advisor to the IT Director.

Role responsibilities;
- Lead and manage the IT Architecture and Quality function to meet current and future business objectives
- Provide expert IT advice and support to the Groups Senior Managers
- Be accountable for the production of the Architecture Strategy and corresponding rolling IT delivery roadmap
- Work with the Senior Management team to define and document key IT Architecture processes
- Act as the groups Enterprise Architect
- Be a key influencer in the formulation and implementation of policy and projects at relevant strategic meetings
- Act as an internal and change consultant
- Ensure that IT systems are fully compliant and meet data protection requirements
- Team leading and management

Skills and background experience;
- Experience of working in a Senior IT Management and Architecture role
- Have been a key contributor to an IT Strategy and roadmap
- Proven knowledge and appreciation of a number of architecture, project and software delivery methodologies and practices
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of IT Architecture principles such as TOGAF and/or Zachman
- High attention to detail
